Optional Credit
for Kansas Reading Association Conference Participants
Kansas State University Division of Continuing Education and the College of Education will offer a
credit option for Kansas Reading Association Conference participants. Participants must
participate in 14 hours of conference sessions. The course provides an opportunity for
participants to gather new literacy instruction ideas and reflect upon and carefully evaluate the
methods, materials, and professional connections that were a part of the KRA conference.
Registrants can enroll for 1, 2, or 3 undergraduate or graduate credits and will be given
assignments accordingly. Recommended textbooks from conference keynote speakers will be
utilized.

Cost is approximately $255 per undergraduate credit and $336 per graduate credit. For more
